We are hiring a talented Solution Architect professional to join our team who will envision and architect solutions for our loyalty and engagement business for large customers. You will be responsible for working with our sales, delivery, and development teams to ensure that solutions both meet the customer are in line with what we can deliver.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with the RMI Sales and Account organization and directly with our current and prospective customers to envision, shape and scope engagement and loyalty solutions
  • Analyze and define objectives, scope, issues and organizational impact of systems, operations or activities while developing the details of the proposed solution
  • Work with RMI Sales and Finance teams to price solutions effectively, getting inputs from our Program Operations, Strategic Services, and Development teams
  • Communicate tactfully and clearly with customers to understand solution requirements, understand and address concerns of stakeholders, and iterate with Sales and the customer on solution concepts and changes
  • Collaborate with all relevant RMI teams to design solutions which maximize our pre-built product platform components and ensure compatibility of applicable customer systems and processes and RMI systems and processes
  • Research and evaluate current or emerging technologies and critical approaches to solution design including frequently used customer platforms, then consider their costs, compatibility, portability, scalability or usability, as appropriate
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all RMI teams during the implementation phase about the details of the solution sold to the customer
  • Envision, design, and implement how Solution Architecture fits into existing RMI sales and delivery processes and teams
  • Align closely with the Product Development teams to ensure planned functionality needed for the solution either exists or can be built including timeline and cost for any enhancements
  • Align closely with the Program Operations teams to ensure that any manual or automated processes needed for the solution either exist or can be developed
  • Align with the Strategic Services, Business Analytics, and Contact Center teams to ensure that capabilities needed for the solution are in line with current or can be built, and are appropriately understood and priced


  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferred to be in computer science, information systems, engineering or related field)
  • Experience developing technology-based solutions either in 100% custom environments or product-enabled solution environments
  • Experience interfacing with developers and engineers
  • Experience in or familiarity with software engineering and design architecture
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working with technology (but does not need to be a developer background)
  • Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Organizational skills and ability to solve complex problems
  • Proficiency in performing system and process analysis and evaluation
  • Project management background preferred
  • Ability to strategize
  • Positive outlook in working through challenges and commitment to work at a high level
